KERMEL TOP is made of the high-performance fibre KERMEL®. Even after a large number of washes, the garment withstands fire and flame and also offers limited protection against liquid chemicals. At the same time, the fabric keeps its shape perfectly.

In addition to its comprehensive protective functions such as thermostability and antistatic properties, the KERMEL® fibre has excellent mechanical properties: KERMEL TOP shows hardly any pilling and retains its colour even under the heaviest use. Of course, wearing comfort is not neglected despite the highest level of protection - because only those who feel comfortable in it will actually put on their protective clothing. The certified clothing is the perfect outfit for work in low-voltage areas or for work exposed to heat.

KERMEL TOP is made of KERMEL A90 fabric, which is 99% meta-aramid and 1% antistatic.

The KERMEL® advantage in molecular structure:

KERMEL® has an affinity to para-aramid in its molecular structure. This makes it possible to produce fabrics from 100% KERMEL® fibres that have no problems with wash shrinkage or the "break open" effect when exposed to flame. Comparable commercially available meta-aramids only achieve these performance characteristics by adding para-aramid. However, this deteriorates the fabric's washfastness, pilling behaviour, lightfastness and wear comfort.

KERMEL TOP can be used for work in the low-voltage range. Here KERMEL® protects against the effects of arc faults. Industrial companies that carry out heat-exposed work or need protection against heat and flames will find the right protection in this garment.
